I started out looking for a song that would give a nod to a really fun project I finished up this week - working with a high end custom cabinetry shop on a comprehensive marketing plan. The Carpenters - nah. I'm a Lumberjack - nah. I've got it - "If I Had a Hammer!"
I had every intention of using the Peter, Paul and Mary version until I stumbled across this little gem. Because nothing says "Down with the Man" quite like a ballgown, background quartet, and a hairstyle you could bounce a quarter off of. Don't get me wrong - I love me some Debbie Reynolds. It's just...an interesting choice of song for her.
