We're almost through the two-week Glee hiatus, how are you holding up? It's tough, I know. One way we're getting through is by downloading the Glee cast album and choreographing it in the kitchen. (The Kho house is never more than one song away from a break-out dance party, if that wasn't evident to you by now.)
One thing that's great about this Fox (yeesh) comedy is the way it introduced all different musical styles, eras and genres to viewers - I imagine Neil Diamond's music is getting new appreciation from the younger set, and I kind of even like the Carrie Underwood song once I saw the Gleeks dancing to it.
But the best discovery for us so far is "Hate on Me," sung on the show by Sue's kids ("Santana! Wheels! Asian! Other Asian! Gay kid!") It was done originally by Jill Scott and man, is it great. Enjoy it as you coast into the weekend, and don't let the haters get you down.
