Don't you know sarcasm when you hear it?

My sister, that wisenheimer, sends me a link to a recent study showing that sarcasm is a key evolutionary survival skill. Since she and I pretty much communicate solely through sarcasm, much to our mother's chagrin and our ongoing mutual hysteria, it's a nice validation that we are simply being evolved.

Sad to say that both girls have inherited the family gene...these days the oldest kid meets most statements with the retort, "Ya think?" So we've set them on the right track.
