There were a number of reasons I decided to move back to America from Germany in 1990, after two years in Munich: wanted to get my MBA, missed my family, wanted the ability to grocery shop past 6 pm. But ultimately, it was the fact that David Hasselhoff was considered a real musician by the Germans that sent me over the edge. It occurred to me today that you may never have seen the video, below; I think once you do, you'll agree I made the right choice.
